There is just nothing like the art form of dance. It is truly powerful. Sometimes it tells a story, sometimes it brings out emotions that words simply cannot express, and sometimes it allows us to honor someone in a way that will stay with us forever. ❤️For this Saturday Spotlight, we are looking back at Evermore, a beautiful and emotional piece choreographed by Ms. Kaila in honor of a very special young girl named Asia.Asia was one of Ms. Kaila’s students at Creekland Middle School. She was a bright light to everyone who knew her, and her kindness left a lasting impact. Her motto was, “It costs nothing to be kind.” What a beautiful legacy to leave behind.Through this dance, Ms. Kaila was able to share a little piece of Asia's story and the incredible impact she had on those around her. This is so much more than just a dance. It is a reminder of why we do what we do, how powerful this art form can be, and how lucky we are to be able to tell stories like Asia's through movement. We hope you take a moment to watch, remember Asia, and spread a little extra kindness today. 💕
