If your dancer would like to be in the Braselton Christmas Parade with us this Saturday please read through the below let us know if your dancer will participate.
Parade Info:
When: Saturday Nov 21st
Dancers can begin arriving at 9:30 and must be with our group by 10:00
Where to park:
Year One Parking Lot
1001 Cherry Dr, Braselton, GA 30517
Where to Meet:
Church parking lot next to Year One where the parade will be lined up.
What to wear:
Dancers: dance clothes/ dance costume/GDU attire or Christmas attire
Parents: GDU attire or Christmas attire
Dancers 8 and under must have a parent walk with them during the parade.
Dancers 9 and up can walk with a parent or with our group as long as we have a parent contact in case of an emergency.
Dancers can bring candy to pass out along the parade route.

Dear Parade Participants,
Our parade is right around the corner! I hope everyone is getting ready! Just a few reminders:
The parade starts promptly at 10:30am Saturday, November 21st.
9:00-10:00 – Participants arrive. General Parking is at YearOne. (Only vehicles in the parade are allowed in the church lot. We will allow one support vehicle for the purpose of decorating or dropping off supplies). Parking at YearOne is for participates only!! Remember everyone needs to enter from Hwy 53! Please tell your group. The Hwy 124 entrance will be blocked! Everyone needs to come in thru Hwy 53, so the greeter can give them proper instructions! No sneaking in!
And while we realize that family and friends may want to come see you before the parade begins, please discourage this! Our volunteers will be parking and assisting a lot of people that morning who are actually in the parade. Spectators take up our limited parking and cause delays getting others checked in and in place!

10:10am – Entrance to Tech Center is closed!
10:30 – Parade starts!
If you have children being dropped off –
Parents can park at YearOne and walk their children to the church lot. Look for a parade crew volunteer near the mayor and council vehicles. They will give you your entry #.
There will be golf cart shuttles running between the parking and staging areas. If you need assistance, please be patient. They will do their best to get you where you need to go as quickly as possible.
At the end of the parade, all entries will return to the Tech Center via the Hwy 124 entrance. Have a pick up plan in place for younger children!
In case of inclement weather: the parade will only be canceled if the Braselton Police Department deems, based on local weather advisors that conditions outside will be unsafe! If we have to cancel the parade, it will be posted on www.Facebook.com/DowntownBraselton as soon as we make that decision.
Most importantly: Be Patient and allow plenty of time! There will be a lot of vehicles and people all trying to get somewhere in a very short period of time. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and have a great time.
Lastly, make sure that participants know the group name you registered! Seems we always have a few folks who show up and aren’t quite sure who they are with! It takes crew members some time to figure out where to direct them and holds up others.
